Job summary

DPD Group UK is seeking an experienced Logistics Shift Manager to join our Logistics Solutions Management team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will lead a small team to meet daily pick and pack needs and drive KPI performance across productivity, cost to plan and process accuracy.

The role requires strong communication, decisive leadership and a focus on continuous improvement, with a full UK driving licence essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a logistics operation with proven people management.
• Strong communication skills to inspire, motivate and manage a team.
• Decisive and effective decision-making, problem resolution and time management.
• Demonstrate resilience, self-motivation and flexibility.
• Excellent computer skills with the ability to use Google Chrome applications.
• Ability to do reporting and data analysis.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team to deliver day-to-day warehouse pick and pack operations.
• Oversee KPIs for productivity, costs to plan and process accuracy.
• Monitor service levels and drive continuous improvement activities.
• Follow policies including HR, Health and Safety, Quality and Housekeeping.
