Job summary

Cefetra Limited, part of the Cefetra Group, is seeking a Transport and Pricing Analyst in the UK. The role focuses on optimising transport routes, analysing pricing movements, and supporting traders and execution teams to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

You will monitor market drivers, track KPIs, and provide data-driven insights to support pricing strategies and continual improvement across the Haulage function.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills in logistics and pricing.
• Expertise in route planning and cost optimisation in the UK transport sector.
• Experience in reporting KPIs and preparing performance reports for continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of market drivers affecting supply and demand in the haulage industry.

Responsibilities

• Route optimisation: analyse and optimise transport routes with hauliers to minimise costs and improve efficiency.
• Pricing analysis: monitor haulage pricing fluctuations and insights on price movements.
• Collaboration with traders and execution teams: work with traders to understand haulage exposures and routes.
• Cost monitoring and KPI reporting: track actual vs planned costs and report on KPIs for the Haulage team.
• Operational support: assist transport team during busy periods and ensure BAU routes are handed to execution teams.
