Job summary

Cefetra Limited in Glasgow is seeking a Logistics Analyst to help drive efficiency and cost control across haulage and shipping operations. This role goes beyond reporting, with an investigative mindset to identify root causes and translate data into actionable insights.

You will develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards and management reporting, work with Trading, Haulage, Shipping, Operations and Finance, and support continuous improvement across the wider supply chain.

Qualifications

• Experience in an analytical, investigative or performance-focused role.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel capabilities and experience with large datasets.
• Ability to turn complex information into practical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyse haulage costs, pricing and transport performance to identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
• Investigate stock losses, vessel outturn variances, demurrage and other supply chain performance issues.
• Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards and management reporting.
• Identify trends, risks and operational anomalies and provide clear recommendations.
• Work closely with Trading, Haulage, Shipping, Operations, Finance and other stakeholders to drive performance improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the wider supply chain.
