Compensation: £40,249 + Benefits

At Babcock, we’re working to create a safe and secure world. Join us as a Logistics Operative at either our Beckton or Park Royal site.

The Role

As a Logistics Operative, you’ll provide equipment and vehicle support to ensure availability for training programs with the London Fire Brigade.

• Support logistics activities within the department and assist with administrative tasks.
• Liaise with the logistics manager to manage resources and ensure compliance with legislation.
• Report and process equipment defects and breakdowns according to the London Fire Brigade system.
• Carry out tasks as directed by the Logistics Manager and provide cover for delivery drivers.

This full-time role involves 37.5 hours per week onsite at either the Park Royal or Beckton locations.

Essential Experience

• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Knowledge of fire service vehicles and equipment (desirable).
• Awareness of health and safety regulations in a workshop environment.
• Trustworthy, punctual, polite, and professional.

Qualifications

• Category C driving license (desirable).

Security Clearance
