Job summary

Knorr-Bremse Rail Systems (UK) Ltd. is offering a 10-month Logistics Placement at its Melksham site. You will work on reducing logistics spend and environmental impact while gaining hands-on experience in Stores, SAP, and KPI reporting.

You will be introduced to Lean Six Sigma tools and deliver a project with support from subject matter experts and your team. Suitable for students in Operations, Logistics or related disciplines.

Qualifications

• Student or recent entrant in Operations, Logistics or Supply Chain
• Interest in reducing logistics spend and environmental impact

Responsibilities

• Assist on logistics and operations projects on the shop floor
• Learn SAP and warehouse processes used by the Stores team
• Contribute to KPI measurement and process improvements
• Support lean Six Sigma tools to structure and deliver a project
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on milestones
