Job summary

Bulkhaul Limited, a global leader in bulk liquids logistics, is seeking a Logistics Operator in Middlesbrough. You will support daily operations, coordinate shipments, maintain records, and liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong organisational skills, is proactive, can work under pressure, and is proficient with MS Office. NVQ Diploma or equivalent in logistics is a plus; experience in logistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination and management of daily logistics operations.
• Communicate with external suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and address any issues that arise.
• Prepare and process related documents.
• Support the operations team in planning and executing schedules.
• Liaise with the Customer Service Team to handle inquiries and provide timely updates on shipment status.
• Assist in resolving operational issues and discrepancies.
• Provide out of hours cover as required on a rotating basis along with other team members.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Operator to join our team. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).


• NVQ Diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields are a plus.


• Knowledge of logistics software and systems is an advantage.


• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
