Job summary

Paxton Access Ltd in Eastbourne Manufacturing centre is seeking a Warehouse Operative for the late shift. You will be responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, test and packing of Paxton products and for preparing orders for delivery or pickup.

Responsibilities include loading goods, stock checks, inventory control, and delivering to Paxton sites as needed. The role requires attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment; forklift experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Forklift experience or driving license is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collect items from throughout the warehouse, prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.
• Assist with unloading of vehicles and check in of stock; record stock on the internal database system.
• Sort and place materials on racks and shelves by hand, with manual handling equipment or a forklift truck.
• Load goods for despatch; some deliveries may be to other Paxton sites.
• Raise and complete all required despatch documentation.
• Perform warehouse inventory controls via scanner and/or computer; conduct regular stock counting and location checks.

About the role

You'll be join our team based in our Eastbourne Manufacturing centre, where you will be responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, test and packing of Paxton products.

• Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.
• Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock and accurate recording of stock on the internal database system.
• Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves by hand, manual handling equipment or a forklift truck.
• To load goods for despatch and some jobs will include delivering to other Paxton sites.
• Raising and completing all required despatch documentation.
• Performing warehouse inventory controls via scanner and or through a computer along with performing regular stock counting and location checks

We are looking for an operative to join us on our late shift which runs Monday & Tuesday, 09{{:}}00 - 19{{:}}15, Wednesday & Thursday 09{{:}}00 - 19{{:}}00

What are we looking for?

• Be able to adapt in a fast paced environment with attention to detail.
• Any previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing is preferred
• Driving license or experience with Forklifts is beneficial.
