Job summary

Ipsen in Wrexham seeks a proactive Logistics Operator to support warehouse operations in a fast-paced, GMP-regulated setting. You will ensure materials are received, stored, moved and issued accurately, aligning with manufacturing and customer needs.

Successful candidates will have logistics experience, a valid counterbalance forklift licence, and familiarity with WMS/ERP systems and Excel. This is a hands-on role requiring collaboration and precision.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a Logistics environment.
  • Counterbalance forklift truck licence.
  • Ability to pivot focus according to changing priorities.
  • Confident with IT systems; able to enter/update/retrieve data using WMS/ERP, Excel and handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out goods inward, picking, issuing and returns to support manufacturing, R&D and internal functions
  • Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts and investigations
  • Safely transport and handle materials, ensuring quality, compliance and equipment checks
  • Support dispatch activities and cross-functional tasks as required
  • Work closely with Planning to align material availability and delivery schedules
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and Operational Excellence initiatives
  • Management of Microsoft software and SAP, looking at production plans and warehouse KPIs.

We are looking for a proactive and reliable Logistics Operator to support the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse operations in Wrexham.

This is a hands‑on role within a regulated, fast‑paced environment where accuracy, safety and collaboration are key. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring materials are received, stored, moved and issued efficiently so that customer and manufacturing requirements are met, while maintaining high quality and GMP standards.

Key Responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Ability to pivot focus according to changing priorities
  • Candidates must be confident in the use of IT systems and able to accurately enter, update, and retrieve data. Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel), and handheld scanning devices is desirable.
