Job summary

First Base Employment is seeking a Logistics Operative for our Gloucester site. You will help pick and consolidate customer orders, sort shipments and prepare goods in and out, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

The role offers a salary of £29,835 per annum, with weekly rotating hours from 6 AM to 3 PM or 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM, Monday to Friday. A proactive, reliable team player with attention to detail will fit well in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse setting preferred but not essential.
• Counterbalance forklift licence preferred but not essential.
• Proactive, practical mindset with attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to long-term employment.
• Able to work as part of a team and follow structured processes.

Responsibilities

• Picking and consolidating customer orders.
• Sorting and organising shipments for Goods In, Goods Out, and Replenishment.
• Packaging products in line with company specifications.
• Completing tasks efficiently with close attention to detail.
• Demonstrating good judgement across all aspects of the role.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
• Following all Health and Safety protocols.
