Job summary

Serco Limited is recruiting a Logistics Operative for the RAF Brize Norton team to ensure materials and equipment are available where needed, supporting vital RAF operations.

This hands-on role supports the Royal Air Force and involves stock control, storekeeping, and material delivery across the site, with training provided where required and collaboration with Serco colleagues and RAF personnel.

Qualifications

• Experience in a logistics or supply chain environment.
• Full UK Category C1 driving licence.

• Basic IT skills and willingness to learn new systems.
• Flexibility to complete required training and adapt to needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt and distribution of stock to internal teams and external contractors.
• Carry out storekeeping duties, including stock control and inventory management.
• Operate material handling equipment such as counterbalance forklifts (training provided if required).
• Support general warehouse duties including housekeeping and maintaining safe working areas.
• Deliver materials across the site in line with operational requirements.
• Work across warehouse and office environments to support daily operational output.
