Job summary

Stobart (Part of the Culina Group) is seeking an Operations Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operation of our consumer site in Goole. You will support depot management, assets, resources and facilities to maximise cost efficiencies.

You'll work a 4 on 4 off days pattern, 6:00-18:00, leading a diverse team, coordinating maintenance, payroll planning, and KPI reporting while ensuring compliance with EU Hours and Tachograph rules. This role offers progression within a busy logistics operation.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, energetic leadership style and strong problem solving abilities.
• 1 year of experience in transport operations; CPC knowledge is preferred.
• PC literate with knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Actively leading and coaching staff to run shifts effectively.
• Maintaining internal databases and following up defects with Fleet.
• Administering the vehicle and trailer maintenance program.
• Completing depot checks and recording in the central system.
• Direct contact with drivers on daily performance and improvement actions.
• Supporting payroll planning and provision of KPI data to management.
• Ensuring personnel files are up to date and training completed.
• Co-ordinating recruitment and training of employees.
• Assisting in accident investigation and follow up.
• Completing daily risk assessments of yard and office.
