Pertemps in Burton-on-Trent seeks an Operations Clerk to support a busy logistics operation, assisting with daily administration, data entry and stock control across rotational and night shifts.

Initial training on a rotational shift with experienced colleagues; after training, the long‑term shift pattern will be set by operational needs. This temp‑to‑perm role offers development within a busy supply chain environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an operations, logistics, warehouse administration or transport administration environment.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good customer service skills and a professional approach.
• An understanding of stock control and inventory processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• A reliable, flexible and positive approach to work.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure, particularly during peak periods.
• A "Can-Do" attitude and commitment to getting things right first time.
• The flexibility and willingness to work both rotational and night shifts when required.
