Job summary

Global Recruitment Services Ltd is looking for a Stores Operative for a client in the Burton on Trent area on a temp-to-perm basis. The role involves goods inwards, unloading, packing, and stock control within a manufacturing environment.

This position requires computer literacy and familiarity with a stock control system; forklift training can be provided if needed. Monday to Friday day shift with overtime available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a stores role within manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Ability to operate a forklift; training can be provided if not already qualified.
• Proficient computer skills and use of stock control systems.

Responsibilities

• Goods inwards and unloading using forklift as required.
• Report rejects/shortages and assist with packing and goods outwards.
• Load goods with forklift, manage stock control in ERP system.
• Pick stock, kit jobs, and re-order consumables/PPE.
• Maintain clean stores and liaise with purchasing and production staff.
