Job summary

Sciensus is seeking a Logistics Night Shift Assistant to help medicines and clinical supplies move efficiently through our distribution network. Based in the UK, you’ll support overnight depot activities and ensure accurate counting and recording of consignments.

In this hands-on role you’ll manage driver manifests, unloading/reloading trunk vehicles, and maintain depot documentation while upholding safety standards. A full, clean driving licence is desirable.

Qualifications

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
  • Flexible and reliable with a proactive approach to overnight operations.
  • Warehouse or logistics experience is desirable.
  • A full, clean driving licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with maintenance scheduling and compliance management across the distribution centre.
  • Manage driver manifests (printed and electronic) and maintain trunking logs.
  • Monitor driver attendance, report late/no shows, and support replacement arrangements.
  • Unload and reload trunk vehicles, ensuring all consignments are accurately counted and recorded.
  • Sort, scan, and organise parcels and returns for onward delivery.
  • Handle returned items, including sharps bins, and ensure correct storage processes are followed.
  • Ensure all depot documentation is completed and returned correctly.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment across all depot areas.

As a Logistics Night Shift Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring medicines and clinical supplies move efficiently through our distribution network - helping us deliver a reliable, high-quality service when it matters most.

This is a hands-on role at the heart of our Clinical Logistics operation, supporting overnight depot activities.

What you’ll be doing
  • Assisting with maintenance scheduling and compliance management across the distribution centre
  • Managing driver manifests (printed and electronic) and maintaining trunking logs
  • Monitoring driver attendance, reporting late/no shows, and supporting replacement arrangements
  • Unloading and reloading trunk vehicles, ensuring all consignments are accurately counted and recorded
