Job summary

Line Up Aviation is seeking a Logistics Operations and Stock Controller for a 6-month contract based in Stevenage, fully onsite. You will compile and deliver kits and raw materials to production, while maintaining visibility and control of stock for pre/post project delivery and handling high-value, hazardous goods.

The role requires SAP stock control, IT literacy, strong numeracy, and the ability to work in a cleanroom environment, performing weekly cycle counts and daily kit status reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a Class 100 cleanroom.
• SAP and inventory/stock control experience.
• IT literate.
• Team working.
• Kit compilation.
• Handling flight/sensitive equipment.
• Stock control and inventory management experience.
• Good level of detail and numeracy.
• Experience in a comparable industry would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• The compilation and delivery of kits, consumables, as required items and raw materials to production, assembly, integration and test areas.
• The visibility and control of kits for Storage & Distribution Pre & Post Project Delivery.
• The control of hazardous /high value/hyper sensitive goods.
• Perform weekly Cycle counts.
• Input to Daily kit status report.
• Perform weekly 5S audits.
• Monitoring & raising of interplant shipments.
• Capacity to manage dispatch (Dangerous Goods, Customs invoice, booking of transport on web portals...).

Our client has an opportunity for a Logistics Operations and Stock Controller to join them on a 6 month contract with possible extension.

Role: Logistics Operations and Stock Controller

Location: Stevenage, fully onsite

Hourly Rate: £20.10 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35

Clearance: full SC required before starting

Hours: 37 hours per week between the hours of 8am-5pm
