Job Description:

TARCG – The Aviation Recruitment & Consulting Group is proud to partner with a well-established aviation company to support their search for a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic and hands-on logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment and has a proven track record of managing complex supply chains in the aerospace sector.

The Role:

As the Logistics Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the full logistics function, including procurement, inventory control, compliance, vendor management, and end-to-end supply operations. Your expertise will help ensure critical components are delivered on time, safely stored, and traceable—all in compliance with aviation industry standards.

You’ll play a key role in developing efficient logistics strategies, leading a team, and ensuring seamless operations to support both internal departments and third-party clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and optimise logistics planning and inventory management across the business.
  • Oversee the procurement process, ensuring all materials are sourced cost-effectively and in line with industry standards (CAA, EASA, FAA).
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance.
  • Ensure accurate traceability and documentation of aircraft components, including storage and release processes.
  • Monitor and analyse key logistics KPIs such as stock turnover, cost savings, and delivery performance.
  • Handle import/export compliance and hazardous materials in accordance with customs legislation and aviation regulations.
  • Implement risk management strategies for supply chain continuity and disruption mitigation.
  • Maintain warranty accounts and ensure proper handling of defective parts and returns.
  • Drive continuous improvement in logistics operations, reporting, and compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain management within the aviation or aerospace industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of aviation regulations (CAA, EASA, FAA, AS9120).
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or AMOS).
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in team leadership and performance management.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and manage changing priorities.

What’s on Offer:

  • A key leadership position within a dynamic aviation business.
  • Opportunity to influence and shape logistics strategy.
  • Career development and training support.
  • A collaborative team environment.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.

If you meet the above requirements and would like to be considered for this role, please send your updated resume to Vicki Senner at [emailprotected]
