Job summary

M-Tec Engineering Solutions in the United Kingdom is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead the materials, planning and logistics functions within a manufacturing environment.

You will manage the lifecycle of stock from supplier to despatch, drive production scheduling, maintain ERP/MRP systems and set KPIs to meet volume, quality and timescales. A proven track record in leadership and continuous improvement, plus excellent communication and forward-planning skills, are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified with experience in manufacturing logistics.
• Experience in automotive sector preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Managing all activities within the logistics department including materials scheduling, production planning and shop floor logistics.
• Ensure the integrity of stock accuracy at all times
• Work with production departments to ensure adherence to schedule
• Ensure the ERP and MRP systems are in place and maintained accurately
• Set KPIs and ensure they are achieved in relation to volume output, quality standards and timescales.
• Ensure supplier management and customer liaison
• Strategic Planning with the rest of the management team by

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Logistics Manager to join an internationally established manufacturing organisation.

The successful Logistics Manager will be joining a leading manufacturer where you will have the opportunity to further progress your managerial career and responsibilities as the role will be responsible for Materials, Planning and Logistics Functions.

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for the life cycle of stock from supply through to despatch.

Further responsibilities will include:
