The Role:

Based at our Glasgow Head Office, we have a current opportunity for an experienced Logistic Manager to manage and lead the Tanker Services Logistics team. The successful candidate will create a one-team approach, generate plans and control all tanker servicing activities within the Central Logistics Team whilst delivering excellent customer service, cooperating with depots, operating within agreed timescales and achieving optimum operational efficiency at all times.

About You

Successful candidates should demonstrate the following:

•Previous experience of leading managing a team in an extremely fast-paced environment
•Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive sales
•Experience of trouble shooting and solution finding with a positive and proactive approach
•The ability to work to challenging timescales whilst driving and motivating the team
•A background in creating process efficiencies and driving change
•Strong IT skills, in particular MS Excel
•Previous logistics experience and knowledge of the HGV sector would be beneficial
