Job summary

Buy It Direct Group in Huddersfield offers a Logistics graduate role within the core Logistics and Final Mile functions. This full-time, permanent position provides hands-on experience across planning, reverse logistics, continual improvement and invoicing, developing your commercial understanding and operational judgement.

Qualifications

• Graduates with an interest in logistics and end-to-end delivery.
• Ability to structure unclear problems and derive insights.
• Strong data interpretation and analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through core Logistics and Final Mile functions to understand end-to-end delivery and returns.
• Collaborate with operational teams, carriers and support functions to map order movement.
• Use data to investigate service, cost and process issues and suggest next steps.
• Support day-to-day planning, respond to changing demand or priorities.
• Assist with reverse-logistics activities including returns and stock recovery.
• Check carrier invoices, investigate exceptions and ensure cost accuracy.
• Participate in continual-improvement projects from problem definition to implementation.
• Create reports, trackers, process maps and action logs for decision making.
• Spend time in the warehouse and with delivery ops to test proposed solutions.
• Build relationships across Logistics, Warehousing, Customer Services, Finance, Commercial and Technology.
