Job summary

Logistics Coordinator role based in Huddersfield, Monday–Friday, fully office based. You will join a busy planning team and coordinate customer orders, plan deliveries and maximise vehicle utilisation.

The ideal candidate is organised, calm under pressure and customer-focused, with strong communication skills and experience in logistics or planning.

Salary £30,000–£35,000 DOE; benefits to be discussed.

Responsibilities

Manage customer orders, delivery schedules and stock levels to meet service requirements.
Liaise with customers, resource teams and control teams to match supply with demand.
Monitor and replan deliveries to maximise driver and vehicle utilisation.
Ensure customer-specific requirements, delivery instructions and equipment requirements are met.
Identify and address potential delivery issues, stock shortages and service risks with practical solutions.
Plan resources cost-effectively while ensuring safe vehicle loading and operational standards.
Maintain records, volumes and management information while supporting KPIs.
