Job summary

DK Recruitment in Swindon is seeking a Logistics field/area manager in the FMCG sector to lead a field-based team across multiple sites. You'll thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, reactive environment and cover weekend shifts on a rotation.

You will act as the primary contact for your area and staff, ensure full staffing, allocate work, and drive KPI and productivity improvements across delivery areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to deal with people and resolve conflicts with practical solutions.
• Strong knowledge of the local area geography.
• Willingness to work weekends on rotation and respond to issues outside of 9-5.

Job description

I am recruiting for a Logistics field/area manager in the FMCG sector.

You will work well under pressure in this very fast-paced, reactive role and be flexible across shifts.

You will have:

• previous experience of managing a field based team across multiple sites
• the ability to deal with people and conflict, you will need to be able to think on your feet and come up with solutions to problems
• a good geographical knowledge of the local area
• flexibility as you will be required to work weekends on a rotation basis (usually 1 in 2 with days off in lieu) and must also be available to deal with any major problems/issues outside of the usual 9-5 as and when they arise.
