Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Logistics/Porter to support BT workplaces across the UK, focusing on moving goods and materials, coordinating loading bays, waste handling and event support. The role involves working with facilities teams, contractors and back-of-house functions to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include managing the loading bay system, coordinating with contractors, supporting sustainability in waste movements and ensuring safe, efficient site operations.

• Organised and able to prioritise under pressure in high-stakes environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and align with team goals.

Responsibilities

• Move plants, equipment, furniture, deliveries and materials around site as required by facilities teams.
• Support event logistics including loading/unloading and contractor sign-in.
• Assist with launching, using and training the loading bay management system.
• Manage internal/external traffic and loading bay cleanliness; report equipment issues.
• Plan with contractors to fit the programme and deconflict space/time on site.
• Support evaluating delivery management booking systems and subcontractor management.
• Promote sustainability through waste movements and recycling initiatives.
• Undertake Control of Works AP role and assist CPs/APs within the cluster.
• Oversee waste service providers and improve service delivery across site.
