As a Logistics Executive, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that our parts and consignments reach customers, both in the UK and around the globe, on time and in full. You’ll join a knowledgeable and supportive team, where collaboration is key and no two days are the same. If you're looking to develop your logistics expertise in a fast-paced, international environment, this is the place to grow.
We have vacancies available across both the night shift (4 on 4 off 1900-0700) and day shift (4 on 4 off 0700-1900) and will be offered on a 12 month fixed term contact.
What will you be doing
Exceed customer expectations and meetrequirements through global shipping
You'll research and use themost economical andfast-paced methods of moving consignments globally
Decide on the best method of shipping
Negotiating the cost of shipping
Consider handling, labelling, and shipping dangerous goods
Collaborating with internal departments to achieve department and company goals, in particular, the warehouse to ensure that no interruptions happen in the customer journey
Meeting set company goals
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be:
Organised and detail-focused
A team player
Proactive and hands-on
It’s a bonus if you have:
Experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain coordination
Familiarity with shipping paperwork, customs, or freight terms
Confidence working with logistics systems or databases
