Job Description:

Temporary - Immediate Start

£30,000 per annum

Location: Northampton

Are you passionate about delivering excellent service? Do you adapt quickly to new systems and processes? As a Logistics Coordinator, you will support the operations team and the wider business to deliver services to key customers. Your responsibilities include transport planning between warehouses and third-party sites, managing customer service and issue resolution across local distributors in European countries. Effective communication with internal teams, external customers, and transport providers is essential. There is potential for this role to become permanent for the right candidate.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Planning and monitoring orders according to customer requests.
2. Liaising with carriers to resolve in-transit issues.
3. Reporting and resolving issues effectively.
4. Booking collections and deliveries, managing special arrangements and returns.
5. Transport planning for warehouse movements.
6. Handling customer queries, complaints, and liaising with carriers and customers in line with compliance procedures.

Requirements for a successful Logistics Coordinator:

1. Confident communicator with strong rapport-building skills.
2. Organized, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
3. Excellent attention to detail.
4. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Knowledge of Transport Management Systems is a plus.
7. Good understanding of European geography.
