Logistics Coordinator Irlam £28,000 - £30,000 DOE

Excellent opportunity has arisen for 2 x Logistics Coordinators to join a world class global manufacturing & distribution organisation who has an exciting future with plans to grow the business dramatically over the next 5 years.

Location: Irlam (M44)

Hours: Shifts in between the hours of 8:30am-5:30pm (37.5 hours per week)

Duration: Permanent

Key duties will include:

•Preparing and processing shipping documentation

•Coordinating transport arrangements with the hauliers.

•Planning and monitoring all inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring vehicles arrive at site on time.

•Overseeing import and export paperwork, ensuring compliance with regulations.

•Maintaining accurate records and ensure documentation is up to date.

•Providing exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.

•Collaborate with other departments, such as production, procurement and sales, to align shipping schedules with the business needs.

•Meet and greet visitors/drivers on site.

Key aspects of the job skills required:

•Proven experience within a logistics environment and knowledge of ADR will be desirable.

•Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

•Excellent attention to detail.

•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective team collaboration.

•Be a team player that is focused on delivering the best possible customer experience.
