Job description

Role Overview: The Logistics Coordinator works with the Logistics Manager in overseeing the movement of goods within the supply chain, according to the specific requirements of each category and covering suppliers, wholesalers, eCommerce, and stores around the globe.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Liaise with freight forwarders/couriers to arrange collections/deliveries from both suppliers and customers.
2. Ensure stock accuracy when booking in on the company operating system, managing variances with suppliers as needed.
3. Report to customers regarding orders, shipments, and any queries they may have.
4. Work closely with the warehouse, prioritising customer deliveries, ensuring all orders are prepared and shipped on time, and customer requirements are correctly fulfilled.
5. Produce all shipping documentation, especially for international purposes.
6. Communicate cross-functionally across the company, reporting to key stakeholders to ensure all processes are followed and targets are met.
7. Manage customer returns and resolution processes.
8. Coordinate inventory flows for direct-to-customer channels.
9. Support logistical flows for seasonal fashion shows, events, and special projects.
10. Update and maintain warehouse stock levels.
11. Investigate, resolve, and process inventory discrepancies.
12. Assist in the continuous improvement of the VB ERP system.
13. Support the exit of excess inventory through sample sales.
14. Leverage experience in logistics within the fashion industry, warehousing, and shipping.
15. Understand shipping paperwork and international customs requirements, documentation, taxes, and duties.
16. Maintain a positive, proactive approach and a willingness to learn.
17. Demonstrate strong networking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
18. Exhibit excellent organisation and team-working skills.
19. Utilise ERP system Visual Next effectively.
20. Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with good Excel skills.
