Job Details

• Type: Full-Time Permanent
• Title: Logistics Coordinator
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm or 6:00am to 4:00pm (with 1 in 3 Saturdays until 12:00pm)
• Location: Office-based in Croydon

Role Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling orders using the in-house system and managing inventory with Maximo (IBM).
• Managing and utilizing the haulage fleet effectively.
• Processing customer orders promptly against forecasted usage, ensuring stock availability.
• Serving as a key contact for customers and drivers.
• Maintaining the accuracy of our internal database related to customer orders.
• Planning routes for the fleet, focusing on cost efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitoring transport progress, advising clients at key milestones, and ensuring schedules are met.
• Ensuring the Goods-In team receives correct quantities of materials ordered.
• Demonstrating attention to detail, especially in order management.
• Applying previous logistics, transport, or fleet management experience.
• Possessing good geographical knowledge or experience in scheduling/route planning.
• Holding a full UK driver's license, necessary for the role and travel requirements.
• Managing your time effectively and using your initiative.
