Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Bracknell

Salary: Competitive

Job Type: Permanent, Full time (37 hours per week)

About The Role

Responsible for ensuring efficient daily operations, supporting business logistical processes, building and maintaining strong client relationships and improving organisational effectiveness. This role includes coordinating cross-functional activities, administrative tasks, streamlining and documenting workflows, and providing operational support across BSRIA.

Exciting Work You Will Be Doing

Operational Excellence & Efficiency:

  • Assisting the implementation and delivery of operational policies and procedures.
  • Support BSRIA with process optimisation and project coordination to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with colleagues to ensure correct interpretation of customer requirements and subsequent delivery thereof.
  • Facilitate stakeholder feedback.
  • Ensure corporate platforms such as the CRM are utilised in accordance with company policy.
  • Identify process challenges and propose streamlined alternatives.
  • Assist in implementing new business tools, software, and automation.
  • Support the execution of strategic initiatives and business plans.

Administrative & Logistics Management

  • Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Lead the preparation and checking of items for dispatch/ receipt.
  • Coordinate scheduling, correspondence, shipping and customs documentation.
  • Coordinate inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships.
  • Maintain databases, records, and reports for business operations.
  • Complete project documentation including use of customer platforms.
  • Resolve any logistics related issues, such as damaged goods or delivery discrepancies.

Financial Performance & Management

  • Assist with providing team financial status, including financial forecasts against budget.
  • Act as a link with Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting and escalate deviations as necessary.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management:
  • Analyse logistics data and generate reports as requested by the Management team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to schedule shipments.

Quality

  • Adhere to corporate and quality policies and where new or modified versions are required, engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment across the organisation.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001 and other corporate policies.
  • Maintain detailed records of activities and ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national and international transportation regulations.
