Job summary

Taiko, established in 1997, is a leading sushi and ready meals producer in the UK. We are seeking an organised and proactive Logistics Controller to support our warehouse and logistics operations in Acton.

You will coordinate stock movements, monitor deliveries and ensure food safety and quality standards are met. Ideal candidates will have experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, strong IT and administration skills, and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment is essential.
• Strong IT and administration skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Ability to communicate effectively with warehouse teams, production and transport colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse and logistics activities, ensuring timely receipt, storage, movement and dispatch of products.
• Monitor stock levels, stock movements and inventory records, investigating discrepancies and supporting stock control.
• Coordinate deliveries and collections, liaising with transport providers, suppliers, production teams and internal departments.
• Ensure goods are handled, stored and dispatched in accordance with food safety, hygiene, traceability and quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate warehouse documentation, including delivery notes, dispatch records, stock reports and relevant system updates.
• Monitor order fulfilment and dispatch schedules, identifying and escalating delays or operational issues.
• Support compliance with company procedures, health and safety requirements, and relevant warehouse standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, stock accuracy and the overall flow of goods.
