Job Description:

The Logistics and Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling the logistics of the business and production within one department. The main responsibility is to ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently, meet quality and quantity standards, and leave the factory on time.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring that H&S policy and correct PPE are adhered to on the shop floor.
• Responsible for the delivery of the production plan schedule.
• Responsible for ensuring that H&S measures are maintained.
• Ensuring that production is cost-effective (Cost per bed target).
• Ensuring labor resource planning supports the production schedule.
• Ensuring products are produced on time and of good quality.
• Liaising with external couriers regarding logistics.
• Exporting goods overseas and nationwide.
• Responsible for deploying and managing 5S principles.
• Managing the team in line with company policies and goals.
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement ideas within the folding bed section.
• Reviewing worker performance and addressing performance issues.
• Identifying the team’s training needs.

Previous experience/Skills:

• Proficient in implementing Lean Manufacturing Techniques.
• Mechanical maintenance qualification (advantageous).
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• SAP experience.
