Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experiencedLogistics and Operations Coordinatorto join our growing team,Eternal Elevators, is one of Scotlands leading independent lift company.

Based at our head office in Linlithgow, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistical and operational processes.

As part of our team, you will act as a point of contact between clients, suppliers, and our engineering team. Your responsibilities will include managing client enquiries, coordinatingresources and ensuring efficient communication across all levels of the business.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with stakeholders. You will have excellent organisational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering the chance to contribute to the success of a dynamic and growing company in the lift industry.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for client enquiries, liaising with office colleagues, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to deliver solutions.

Prepare and issue quotations for clients, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.

Monitor and follow up on quotations, highlighting potential leads to the Business

Contact suppliers to obtain pricing, create purchase orders, and expedite deliveries.

Assist with labour scheduling with engineers using our in house service system.

Maintain and update office systems and databases to support operational efficiency.

Create and maintain spreadsheets and databases to support logistical and operational tasks.

Perform any other duties as required to support the smooth running of the office.

Qualifications And Skills

Proven experience in logistics, operations coordination, or a similar role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel

Strong clerical skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.

Confidence working within busy project, engineering, maintenance, and rental teams.

Experience in the engineering or plant hire industry is preferred but not essential.
