The Logistical Admin Support Worker provides logistical underpinning to community Nursing teams across Primary care networks supporting and enabling the teams to focus on patient facing care. They are a key member of the team who supports the functionality of teams contributing to the provision of high quality care . The role has many requirements from ordering equipment on the NHS procurement Web page , managing stock levels of dressing and equipment , and maintaining other data bases that ensure the team are delivering care safety and effectively . Supporting the DN to manage and provide an effective work space .

This role also requires you to be able to be able to visit various locations across Airedale in or order to pick up or deliver documents /equipment from other team.

Main duties of the job

Using e-technologies to improve ways of working within the team.Participating in the maintenance of effective office systems, identifying improvements to improve individual, team and service performance.

With direction and instruction to collect information required for statistical analysis and to collate information for forwarding to the relevant team. To record and input onto the computer any relevant data as directed.

Actively involved in maintaining data quality at all time, ensuring accurate information is recorded on the Patient Administration SystemAssisting in maintaining adequate supplies of stock items within theTeams.

Ensuring the work area is appropriate and fit for purpose. Following Trust and departmental policies and procedures for the work area including HR policies, operating procedures and financial policies.

Contributing to the management of service risks and governance. Support project work within the function as identified by the managementTeam

Undertaking duties in line with role banding and level of competence andact as an ambassador for administration services displaying exemplaryrole model behaviours.
