Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is seeking a Loft Insulation Installer to deliver retrofit and energy efficiency improvements in domestic properties. You will install loft insulation safely and to design specifications, complete surveys, document work, and ensure high quality in line with PAS 2030 and TrustMark.

You will work Monday to Friday, around Reading or Swindon with travel across the South region. A full UK driving licence and DBS check are required; training is provided and we offer fleet van,

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Insulation Installation Operative required.
• Asbestos Awareness training required.
• Manual Handling training required.
• PAS 2030 knowledge and TrustMark compliance required.
• Where certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely install loft insulation to required depth and coverage in line with PAS 2030 and TrustMark.
• Prepare loft spaces, check access and ventilation and clear obstructions.
• Fit insulation around pipes, wiring, loft hatches and other features safely.
• Install timber walkways and door undercuts as needed, maintaining safety and standards.
• Complete electronic documentation and capture evidence for certification.
• Communicate professionally with residents and explain work precautions.
• Collaborate with retrofit teams and service colleagues to deliver whole-house energy improvements.
