Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is seeking a Loft Insulation Installer to deliver retrofit energy efficiency improvements in domestic properties around Reading and Swindon. You will safely install loft insulation, survey spaces, document evidence, and ensure design depth and coverage per approved specifications.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Insulation Installation and relevant installation qualifications.
• Knowledge of PAS 2030 and TrustMark compliance.
• Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training; refresher training available.

Responsibilities

• Safely install loft insulation to required depth and coverage.
• Prepare loft spaces and check access before installation.
• Fit insulation around pipes and loft features safely.
• Install timber walkways and door undercuts as needed.
• Complete electronic documentation and certification using handheld devices.
• Communicate work plans and precautions to residents.
• Collaborate with other trades and retrofit teams to improve energy efficiency.
