Job summary

Max Energy Ltd in Garforth is seeking a full-time Loft Insulation Installer to join our on-site team. You will prepare loft spaces, measure and cut insulation, and install according to building regulations and company standards, with a focus on safety and quality.

You'll load/unload materials, use hand and power tools, follow installation plans, and maintain tidy, safe work areas while communicating clearly with supervisors and clients on project progress and any issues.

Qualifications

• Practical skills in construction or trade work; able to safely use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and follow installation instructions, site plans and safety guidelines with attention to detail.
• Good physical fitness to work in loft spaces and handle insulation materials safely.
• Awareness of PPE, working at height and safe handling of insulation products.
• Strong reliability and time management; able to work independently or within a site team to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication with supervisors, colleagues, and site contacts.
• Experience in insulation installation or related trade is beneficial but not essential; training can be provided.
• Valid UK driving license and ability to travel to Garforth area sites is an advantage.

Responsibilities

This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Garforth for a Loft Insulation Installer. Day‑to‑day tasks include loading and unloading materials, using hand and power tools, following detailed installation plans, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The installer will conduct basic quality checks, report any issues or hazards, and collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to ensure projects are completed on time. The position requires adherence to health and safety procedures, accurate documentation of completed work, and courteous communication with clients and colleagues.
