Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust's Essex Cardiothoracic Centre invites applications for a Locum Consultant Thoracic Surgeon. You will join a dynamic team delivering a comprehensive range of thoracic procedures, with opportunities to lead sub-specialist interests and contribute to audit, research and clinical governance.

The role requires full GMC registration, participation in the on-call rota, and flexible, collaborative work with colleagues to meet the hospital's planned activity.

Formación

• Full GMC registration.
• Experience in thoracic surgery.
• Able to participate in on-call rota.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate post-operative and ward-based care.
• Take part in the out-of-hours on-call rota for thoracic emergencies.
• Work flexibly with colleagues to meet hospital activity targets.
• Contribute to clinical audit, evidence-based research and appraisal.
• Participate in supervision and training of staff as appropriate.
