Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust invites applications for a consultant Orthopaedic surgeon with a Fellowship in Acute Knee and FRCS (Orth) or equivalent. The post requires full GMC registration and eligibility for the Specialist Register (CCT/CESR). CESR or EC rights are acceptable.

A track record in knee trauma and patient care is essential. Desirable candidates will have acute knee experience in a Major Trauma Centre, academic involvement in audit, teaching junior staff and ongoing

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration.
• Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via CCT or CESR (CP) - proposed CCT/CESR (CP) date must be within 6 months of interview.
• CESR or European Community Rights.
• Acute Knee experience within a Major Trauma Centre (Desirable).
• Evidence of participation in Clinical Audit.
• Able to teach and support junior staff effectively.
• Higher teaching degree or qualification or training (Desirable).
