Job summary

Locum Stroke Consultant at Epsom and St Helier Hospitals is sought to join the bank staff. The role is based at the St Helier site in Carshalton with flexible working hours and 37.5 hours per week, providing ward rounds, ED cover, thrombolysis calls, and TIA services.

The position is NHS bank staffing with competitive pay and eligibility for benefits. Higher banding or rates may be discussed based on experience and NHS background.

Qualifications

• Professional registration is required.
• MRCP (or international equivalent) required.
• CCST in internal medicine required.

Responsibilities

• Ward rounds on stroke unit including HASU.
• ED cover and thrombolysis calls / on calls in hours.
• Stroke outpatient clinic.
• TIA triaging.
• TIA clinic.
• Hours are 09:00–17:00.

The StaffBank for Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust are seeking an enthusiastic Locum Stroke Consultant for a line of work . Depending on previous relevant experience & previous NHS experience, higher banding/rates can be discussed. This is an excellent job opportunity for a consultant to gain more experience and skills working within General Medicine. This role is to work within the St. Helier site for Epsom and St. Helier NHS trust.
