Job summary

Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Chester is recruiting a Locum Specialty Doctor to join the Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics Team, covering clinics for children aged 0-16 with autism, ADHD and developmental concerns.

The post involves integrating within the existing team, contributing to Education Health and Care Plans, and may be redesigned in negotiation with the appointee. The post is based at Kingsway Children Centre.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration and specialist qualification in paediatrics.
• Experience in neurodevelopmental assessment and leadership.
• Postgraduate training in CAMHS or community paediatrics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Undertake developmental assessments and plan care with the MDT for children aged 0–16.
• Oversee medical care for neuro-disabilities and vulnerable children.
• Contribute to autism and ADHD assessment services and EHCNA advice.
• Participate in autism joint and general paediatric clinics.
