Locum Ready is seeking a NMC-registered Practice Nurse for flexible sessional work across primary care services in Garnant. You'll support multiple teams with routine nursing tasks, treatment room clinics, and preventive care, with ad-hoc or ongoing bookings depending on availability.

The role offers fully flexible weekday, evening, and weekend sessions to suit your schedule, with immunisation and chronic disease duties included where trained.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered nurse with primary care experience.
• Immunisation and cytology training beneficial.
• Confident in routine nursing tasks and treatment room clinics.
• Able to adapt to different clinical teams and service structures.
• Familiar with common primary care systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver treatment room clinics including wound care and dressings.
• Support chronic disease management within established care plans.

• Undertaking smear tests where cytology-trained.
• Perform NHS Health Checks and lifestyle assessments.
• Record accurate clinical notes for each service.
