Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Practice Nurse to work in a GP practice in Bishop's Stortford. The role emphasizes chronic disease reviews, treatment room duties, and routine nursing clinics within a structured primary care setting.

You will contribute to high-quality patient care through clinical reviews, preventative health work and treatment room activity, with well-organised workflows and clear daily clinic delivery.

Competenze

• NMC-registered with experience in primary care.
• Up-to-date immunisation and cytology training desirable.
• Confident in chronic disease management and treatment room-work.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision.
• Enhanced DBS.

Mansioni

• Conduct chronic disease reviews for asthma, COPD, diabetes or hypertension.
• Perform wound care, dressings and treatment room duties.
• Carry out immunisations (if trained).
• Undertake smear tests (cytology-trained).
• Complete NHS Health Checks and lifestyle assessments.
• Manage results, recalls and routine follow-up tasks.
• Document clearly in the clinical system.
