Locum Ready is seeking a capable Practice Nurse to work in a GP practice in Warrington. The post focuses on chronic disease reviews, treatment room procedures and routine nursing clinics within a well-structured primary care environment.

You will deliver high-quality patient care through clinical reviews, preventive health work and treatment-room activity, supported by experienced nursing leadership and clear daily clinic delivery. Flexible regular or ad-hoc sessions are available.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered nurse with experience in primary care.
• Immunisation and cytology training desirable.
• Familiar with chronic disease management and treatment room work.
• Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

• Conduct chronic disease reviews for asthma, COPD, diabetes or hypertension.
• Perform wound care, dressings and treatment room duties.
• Carrying out adult and children's immunisations (if trained).
• Undertaking smear tests (cytology-trained nurses).
• Completing NHS Health Checks and lifestyle assessments.
• Managing results, recalls and routine follow-up tasks.
• Documenting clearly in the clinical system.
