You will support high-quality patient care through clinical reviews, preventive health work and treatment room activity. The practice offers well-organised workflows, supportive nursing leadership and clear daily

Qualifications

• NMC-registered with experience in primary care.
• Immunisation and cytology training desirable.
• Confident in chronic disease management and treatment room work.
• Excellent patient communication and clinical reasoning.
• Familiar with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision.
• Enhanced DBS holder.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chronic disease reviews (asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension).
• Perform wound care, dressings and treatment room duties.
• Immunisations for adults and children where trained.
• Undertake cytology-related smear tests if trained.
• Complete NHS Health Checks and lifestyle assessments.
• Manage results, recalls and routine follow-up.
• Document clearly in the clinical system.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting chronic disease reviews for patients with asthma, COPD, diabetes or hypertension
• Performing wound care, dressings and treatment room duties
• Carrying out adult and children's immunisations (if trained)
• Undertaking smear tests (cytology-trained nurses)
• Completing NHS Health Checks and lifestyle assessments
• Managing results, recalls and routine follow-up tasks
• Documenting clearly in the clinical system

Requirements

• NMC-registered Nurse with experience in primary care
