Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool is seeking a Consultant Anaesthetist to cover paediatric surgery through 10 programmed activities per week, including 8.5 Direct Clinical Care PAs and 1 on-call PA.

The role involves teaching, research, and active participation in CPD, audits and governance, with initial SPAs of 1.5 and potential for additional SPAs as roles expand.

Qualifikationen

• Required medical qualifications as above with UK registration or eligibility.
• Experience in paediatric anaesthesia and clinical governance is expected.
• Sponsorship possible for eligible applicants as per government policy.

• Post includes 10 programmed activities per week with SPA allocations.
• Take part in the on-call rota (1 in 16) and general paediatric lists.
• Engage in teaching, research and departmental governance activities.

Ausbildung

Primary medical degree CCT or within 6 months of CCT

Minimum of 7 years in a recognised anaesthetic training post

1 year advanced level training in paediatric anaesthesia
