Job summary

Your World is seeking an Oncology Nurse (Band 6) to work in Bath on a locum basis from 16 November 2026 to 12 December 2026. The role focuses on bridging advanced clinical treatment with compassionate support in the oncology department.

You will lead chemotherapy administration, ensure high-standard care, and collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred pathways. A UK nursing degree and NMC registration are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of experience in a UK healthcare setting, specifically oncology or acute care.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other specialist treatments.
• Monitor for side effects and manage acute symptoms to maximise patient comfort.
• Maintain oncology protocols and equipment to ensure safe delivery of regimens.
• Coordinate with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams to support patient-centred care.
