Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Locum Consultant Neuro Interventional Radiologist for a 6-month fixed-term contract. Based in the Neuro Radiology Department at LTHTR, you will cover Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley District General Hospital, contributing to a regional Neurosciences centre and expanding the Thrombectomy Service.

Qualifications

• Full GMC Registration and License to Practice.
• FRCR or equivalent.
• CESR/CCT within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Support the provision of a comprehensive neuroradiology service and report advanced neuro-imaging and head & neck radiology.
• Contribute to planning, development and delivery of the neuroradiology service for the Directorate and Network.
• Support diagnostic neuroradiology in IP and OP MRI/CT reporting and MDTs.
• Support the stroke thrombectomy service expansion and related MDTs.
