Job description

We have been assigned by one of the largest University Teaching Hospitals in the NHS to recruit either an NHS Fixed Term Locum Consultant or Substantive Consultant Histopathology and wondered if this might be of interest to you.

Based in London, our client is a Centre of Excellence in the clinical care, teaching and research of Histopathology. Our client has strong foundations & values that are Honesty, Equality, Accountability, Respect & Teamwork that demonstrate how they are with patients and how they work with each other.

This role will be shared alongside two other Histopathologists. This post holder will be expected to take general Histology cases, and the trust is willing to help the successful candidate develop 2-3 subspecialties varying from gynae, GI, skin, breast, lung biopsies, liver biopsies, oral biopsies, and non-gynae cytology.

The trust provides specialist care for one of the largest catchment populations in London and is one of the best trusts in terms of flexible working. The trust can offer a flexible working arrangement whether that's job share, part-time, or another flexible pattern for the right candidate.
