Consultant Cellular Pathologist, special interest in Head & Neck, Uropathology, Lung, Gastrointestinal, liver and Breast Pathology. Gynaecological histology and non-gynaecological cytology cover might be required.
The Cellular Pathology Department which is based at Northwick Park Hospital requires a one-year fixed term locum consultant in Cellular Pathology, with a special interest in Head & Neck, Uropathology, Lung, Gastrointestinal, liver and Breast Pathology who will work alongside an established team of twelve other pathologists.
Candidates wishing to work part time or additional PAs will also be considered.
There is a stratified payment system in place for internal backlog management that allows payments reflective of complexity to be made for additional cases undertaken.
The appointee will be expected to take on the duties of a specialist working mainly in Head & Neck, Uropathology, Lung, Gastrointestinal, Liver and Breast Pathology. Gynaecological histology and non-gynaecological cytology cover might be required.
The Departments routine workload includes a broad spectrum of screening and diagnostic cases together with network, national and international referral cases.
