Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Healthcare Assistant to support a GP practice in Witham. This proactive role involves assisting the clinical team with routine duties, patient assessments and day-to-day treatment room activity within a structured primary care setting.

You will help manage patient flow, support core clinical tasks and contribute to high-quality care delivery. Enhanced DBS clearance and NHS experience are desirable for this role.

Formación

• Experience as HCA in primary care or NHS.
• Phlebotomy experience desirable.
• Comfortable performing clinical observations.
• Good communication and patient interaction skills.
• Basic IT competence for clinical system documentation.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Performing observations including BP, pulse, temperature and SpO2.
• Supporting with treatment room procedures.
• Phlebotomy and sample handling (if trained).
• Completing ECGs and assisting with routine patient assessments.
• Providing lifestyle advice and supporting health promotion.
• Updating patient records accurately in the clinical system.
• Assisting clinicians with general tasks as required.
