Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking a Locum Consultant Haematologist to join our Haematology team at Bronglais General Hospital, Aberystwyth. The role offers a fixed-term contract for 12 months and requires full-time commitment to cover the West Wales service.

The appointee will contribute to a broad range of haematology duties, including inpatient and outpatient care, with opportunities to develop subspecialisation and engage in MDTs across the health board.

• Clinical - manage haemato-oncology conditions and contribute to subspecialisation within the team.
• Inpatients - consult on inpatients with local medical team and provide teaching on haematology.
• Outpatients - participate in 3-4 clinics per week; potential subspecialist workload based on experience.
• Laboratory – advise on blood films and bone marrow reports; support MDTs.
